When the parents of Sofia divorced, she went to live with her grandmother. Neither parent has been able to help her or maintain a connection with her since. As her grandmother grew older and was no longer able to care for her, she asked us to take Sofia in. We welcomed her to Hermon Home, where she can be well cared for. She loves music and playing soccer, and she hopes to become a teacher someday.
