Marlar Myint comes from a poor family with two brothers and sisters. Their village has no schools, leaving the children with no access to education. A former resident of Love Children Home 2 now lives in their village and, knowing what this place had meant to them, reached out on the family's behalf and asked for the children to be raised here. We welcomed them in so that they could have a better future. She enjoys studying English and hopes to become a teacher someday, so that the children in her own village will one day have the chance to go to school.
