Her father passed away with Malaria when she was a kid. After her father died, her mom went back to her parents. Her mom is deaf and cannot talk. Kan D Nwe grew up in her grandparents home. Her grandparents are getting old and frail and the  civil war in the area  often keeps them on the run.  She was sent here for a better future and an  education. She likes singing and her favorite color is green. She hopes to become a teacher when she grows up.
