His parents are very poor and his father is in very bad health. His mother is the only one that can work for the family and they cannot support themselves. Moreover, they have not been able to go to school because of the civil war. Joshua was brought to Beulah Children Home so that he can have a better life. He likes to help out with projects and chores around the campus and loves to study for his classes in school.  Playing soccer is his favorite sport and he is a very good soccer player.
