Joshua comes from Shan state where the civil war is severe. His father passed away due to kidney disease in 2024. They left the village to go to a hospital for his father. When they returned to the village, there was no more school or other things. He has an older brother and younger sister that are staying with his mother. He hopes to become a school teacher and likes playing soccer with the other children.
