Jony Sui Hlawn Dim came to Zion Childrens Home with her two siblings after a series of losses. Their mother passed away from breast cancer, and their father died not long after due to alcohol addiction. Their grandmother took them in and cared for them, but the war forced the family to leave their town, and they spent three years living in a refugee camp. After their grandmother passed away, the children came to Zion. Jony loves to read, and she is a big help in caring for her brother Bawi Nun, who lives with brain damage and difficulty walking following an accident. She hopes to become a designer one day.
