The family of Hla Hla Aye sent her to live at a Buddhist monastery. It was there that a local missionary first crossed her path, and through that connection, she came to faith in Christ. That encounter changed the direction of her life: she longed for an education and a different future than the one the monastery offered, so she asked to join our home, and we welcomed her in. Today, she is pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor one day, hoping to use that calling to bring hope and faith to others along the way.
