His father passed away already. Due to the country situation, daily food is hard to find and one day his mother went to the forest to find some leaves and bamboo shoots to eat. There, she accidently stepped on a mine hidden in the ground. She lost some of her body parts and lost her sight. There is no way she could work or look after her children so she decided to send him to Blessing. Two of his brothers are already here, one of his younger  bothers stayed with his mother to look after her.
