Her father passed away with Malaria when she was a kid. After her father died, her mother went back to her parents. Her mother is deaf and she cannot talk. Kan D Nwe grew up in her grandparents home. Since they are getting old and cannot take care of her anymore and the area that they are living right now is both dangerous and they have to run away from the Civil war, they decided to send her here for a better future and better education. She likes singing and her favorite color is green. She hopes to become a teacher when she grows up.
