His dad died during making charcoal. He and his grandma lived in a camp with other siblings because of civil war in their village. His grandma is getting old and cannot take care of all of them so he and his sister (Mran Cia Bauk) were sent here for better life and better education. He wants to become a pastor and enjoys studying English.
