He has 12 siblings. Two of his sisters, Omishe and Omiyo, grew up at LCH until 2015. Omiyo is currently in Malaysia. Omishe came here with her two sons to help cook at LCH when the airstrikes in her area increased to the point that they were constantly on the run. Awm and his sibling also had to keep relocating and could not go to school so they came here for better future and  and education. He likes to play soccer and studying English.
